Email enquiries

If you email me, I use your address, name, and information you provide to respond and discuss potential work. General enquiries rely on my legitimate interest in responding to correspondence; enquiries about engaging my services may involve steps at your request before entering a contract. Please avoid sending sensitive information. Enquiries are not used for unrelated marketing.

Email is handled through TransIP, with copies forwarded to Gmail. Google may process information outside the EEA or UK; applicable locations and transfer arrangements depend on the account and service terms used. Contact me for details.

Hosting logs and retention

TransIP hosts the website and may record IP addresses and technical request details to operate and secure the service. This supports the legitimate interest in maintaining a reliable, secure website. Log retention depends on the hosting settings.

Correspondence is kept as long as reasonably necessary to answer and follow up on enquiries. Engagement records may be retained longer for contractual, accounting, or legal obligations. Retention also applies to mailbox copies and backups, subject to provider settings.

Website features

This website has no contact form. Fonts are hosted locally. The website code does not set analytics or advertising cookies or embed social media players. External links lead to services with their own privacy practices.

Your rights

Depending on the circumstances, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or portability, and object to processing based on legitimate interests. Email me to exercise your rights; I normally respond within one month, subject to lawful extensions.
